Law enforcement has dealt with identity fraud for a long time, and only now are they beginning to realize that the issue is not very well managed because there is little or no national sharing of information such as with fingerprints, DNA and other data. Terrorism has now highlighted the need for more sophisticated techniques in this field. Politics is practicing criminal deceit in many forms upon the lawful American citizenry, and quite without guile.
Without equivocation, I say that "honest politician" is an oxymoron. I'll go one step further and say that "criminal politician" should be the new exemplar. It's my conviction that every congressperson, all politicians at every level, every politically appointed judge, all political parties and the media, do have a clear understanding of the unambiguous presidential eligibility requirements defined in Article II of the Constitution. Therefore, anyone who intentionally deceives the American public about the eligibility requirements is engaging in criminal deception, and because the consequences of that action is to deliberately destroy the precepts upon which this nation was founded it is also a treasonous act punishable by law.
Records show that Marco Rubio was born May 28, 1971. His Cuban parents came to America in 1956 and became naturalized citizens in 1975. That certainly makes him an American citizen but not a natural born citizen and therefore not eligible to be president of the USA. He knows it - he graduated cum laude from law school - everybody of consequence knows it and he and they are practicing criminal deception. Why? I believe it's to create a precedent which will add to the fraud that has already been perpetrated upon us by the Executive office and our elected representatives. Then the Constitution will be systematically decimated using the frayed argument that it should be a living document and constantly revised to keep up with the times. What a wonderful tool for our government to manipulate. There will be so many changes in the months ahead it will make ones head spin. The eight year maximum term for presidential office will be revised to suit the politicians and the Electoral College will be disbanded. Majority rule will take over and America will cease to be a Republic and become an oligarchy at the very least and, in all likelihood, a communist regime.
Marco Rubio is complicit in this scheme to destroy the Constitution. What other reason could he have for his fraudulent behavior? McCain was born, not in an American military hospital but in a residential Panamanian hospital. He knows it and he has also deceived us. Bobby Jindal coyly avoids the issue of presidential possibility in the same manner as Rubio knowing that he is ineligible. True American patriots would immediately renounce the suggestions that they could be candidates for either the presidency or the vice-presidency. They don't, and they won't!
Jeb Bush, former Governor of Florida, a politician who is respected by many, has just declared that he thinks Rubio would be a great V.P. candidate for Mitt Romney. Another member of the political club who is deliberately deceiving the American public because he knows that Rubio is ineligible. Interestingly, his wife is Mexican born. Come to think of it there is a Mexican connection in the Romney family too. Jeb Bush goes on to praise Rubio's charisma and how that would bode well in attracting Hispanics to the Republican ticket.

You are wasting your time. If you haven't removed Obama with the consitutional issue- why bother? At least Rubio is a republican. If you are going to break the law- break it with a republican. Obama has to go.
Not eligible, but since the constitution is dead then anything goes.
The only argument you have is from design -- that if the president should be unable to perform his duties, the VP must take over, so it would make sense that the VP be eligible to be president. However, the Constitution itself places no requirements upon those who serve as vice presidents.

Everyone and their brother are currently pushing for Rubio as VP.
It would be hypocritical of this blog to not expose the Article 2 ineligibility of candidates or potential candidates.
Either Article 2 is the law of the land or it isn't.

Sorry my momma taught me 2 wrongs don't make a right. We will only get what we vote for, trade one usurper for another only guarantees we exchange one criminal for the other and The Constitution will be completely dead by the power of mutual consensus. I kind of hope they do put Rubio on the ticket. That way we can openly talk about his eligibility. I think it gets it on the front page. He will be dogged all over country by questions. The Republicans aren't called the Stupid Party for nothing.
And I agree with this guy, we do know Obama was a manufactured candidate, and I too have my suspicions about Rubio. This guy talks too good of a game.
Rubio's parents were born when Cuba was a US protectorate under the Platt Amendment, so they were born US Citizens, just like Puerto Ricans. Marco was then born in Miami.
So legally, he has 2 US Citizen parents and was born on US soil.
This news is most disappointing to OBOTS who WANT him to be ineligible.

We might talk about eligibility if Rubio is the VP choice, but I don't believe the politicians, Dem or Repub, or the in the tank for Obama media, especially Fox, will say anything at all.

Agreed. Rubio is not a "natural born citizen." Rubio will do whatever they tell him to do. He would be no better than Obama in the effort to bring down the Country. Rubio is not VP material.

Rubio's parents may not have KNOWN that they were born when Cuba was a US Protectorate under the Platt Amendment, or what that meant. It's the same thing as Puerto Rico which is also a US Protectorate, anyone born there is considered a statutory US Citizen.

Oklahoma SB 1569 reflects a misunderstanding of who is a natural born citizen, and if I understand its provisions, Obama would qualify under the bill, even if it was in effect prior to Jan. 1, 2013, the date it becomes effective.
"[The candidiate for president] shall also present one of the following documents to provide proof of United States natural-born citizenship:
1. An original birth document issued by a state, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or the District of Columbia, or a certified copy thereof;
2. An original birth certificate issued by the federal government, or a certified copy thereof;
3. An original United States Certificate of Birth Abroad; or
4. An original Report of Birth Abroad of a Citizen of the United States."
Even if Obama was born in Kenya, he was born to a citizen of the United States, namely his mother. According to citizenship laws at the time she could not convey citizenship to Obama because she had not lived in the U.S. at least 5 years following her 14th birthday. Obama was born before his mother turned 19. The bill does not state this exception.
And what is a United States cerfificate of birth abroad?
Bottom line: there is nothing in the bill about being born to two citizen parents. The biil seems to be an exercise in futility.
John McCain was born in an American military hospital...the small hospital on the U.S. Navy's "Coco Solo" submarine base. A much larger hospital was built on "Coco Solo Naval Air Station" circa 1941.

People, the Platt Amendment DID NOT make Cuba a U.S. protectorate and it DID NOT give Cubans U.S. citizenship. Look it up if you don't believe me.

You keep posting this same comment every time Rubio's non-NBC status comes up. You're full of it. Cuban citizens were NOT American citizens. That's why any Cuban (including Rubio's parents) who wished to become a US citizen had to be naturalized first.
This isn't even a no-brainer. Do you really think that all Cubans born since the end of the Spanish-American war (millions of them!) could freely enter the United States, vote, run for political office, and enjoy all the rights and priveleges that American citizens could? And if so, why would these "citizens" then have to be naturalized to become citizens(!), just like every other non-citizen immigrant?

You lost me on McCain's (can't stomach to twit) eligibility. Regardless of where he was born he was born to parent serving on behalf of the U.S. government and Vattel's Law of Nations so well read during the era stated that citizenship of the father naturally fell on the child unless after grown they choose to relinquish. Logic itself says that the right of Natural Born citizenship cannot be removed as a consequence of serving your country as it would be a violation of natural born citizen parents and punishment for serving their fellow Americans.
