Excerpts from The New American article published Friday:'Arizona Birther Bill Faces Obstacles'
According to Seel, "[HB 2480] gives the average citizen the capacity … to challenge any candidate appearing on the Arizona ballot, whether they are properly qualified to be on the said ballot … and the capacity to preserve, defend and protect their Constitution.”
The bill also requires that national party chairmen sign on behalf of their candidates, and if that candidate is later found to be ineligible, both the candidate and the party chair would be charged with perjury.
But while the bill has the support of members of both the state Senate and House, it is being held up by Senate President Steve Pierce, who claims that he will not clear the way for the measure to come to the Senate floor until Senator Nancy Barto — chair of the Healthcare and Medical Liability Reform Committee where the bill is currently being stalled — allows its passage.
Seel contends that the bill is being stalled because Senator Barto has solicited from Seel a “laundry list” of names of all the Arizona Senators who have committed to vote for the bill. Critics assert that Barto’s demands are unorthodox, as most legislatures will function on an “honor system” of sorts where lawmakers give their verbal commitment to support a bill. Some suspect that the list of names may be used in an attempt sway each of the lawmakers on the list before the vote reaches the floor. If the bill were to be voted down, it would virtually prohibit any chance for revival.

Megadeth singer and guitarist Dave Mustaine believes Barack Obama was born somewhere outside the United States, and he’s not crazy about GOP candidates Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich either.
The comments came in an interview with George Stroumboulopoulos on the Canadian television show “The Hour.”
Calling himself a “lesser of evil” kind of guy, Mustaine commented on the eligibility issue and the GOP field of candidates in 2012 before clamming up, saying, “I don’t want to talk about my president.”
Before he closed down, he said he’s concerned about life in America at the moment, as the government takes away more rights.
He said for him, the big issue is the right to freedom of speech: “I’ve got a big mouth.”
He has a lot of questions about Obama but “certainly not where he was born.”
“I know he was born somewhere else than America,” Mustaine said.
When the host brought up Obama’s history, the rocker said, “How come he was invisible until he became … whatever he was in Illinois?”
"Mclnnish has attached certain documentation to his mandamus petition, which, if presented to the appropriate forum as part of a proper evidentiary presentation, would raise serious questions about the authenticity of both the "short form" and the "long form" birth certificates of President Barack Hussein Obama that have been made public."

The Selective Service System has declined Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s request to see the original copy of Barack Obama’s Selective Service registration form.
A three-sentence March 22 letter written on behalf of Selective Service Director Lawrence G. Romo, however, dismissed the request.
“This Agency has no evidence that President Obama’s 1980 registration is not authentic,” wrote Richard S. Flahavan, associate director of public & intergovernmental affairs
Apparently refusing to take seriously Arpaio’s investigation, Flahavan referred the sheriff to the FBI.
“However, if you have any credible evidence to the contrary and believe that a Federal crime has been committed, we suggest that it be turned over immediately to the Federal Bureau of Investigation to pursue,” Flahavan said.
“If your office has the original, authentic Selective Service registration form for Barack Obama from July 29, 1980, please indicate whether or not you are in possession of this document,” Arpaio wrote.
“If the document is in your possession, please make it available for inspection by my Sheriff’s Office investigators. We will travel to your facility to analyze it.”
Apraio gave Romo 10 days to respond.
“Given the clarity and brevity of these requests, we would appreciate your direct response within ten business days of your receipt of this letter, since we are continuing our investigation,” Arpaio said.

JEFFERSON CITY (AP) - Birth records for presidential and vice presidential candidates would need to be publicly available for those appearing on Missouri ballots.
Political parties would be required to give the secretary of state's office proof of their candidates' identity and that they are natural born citizens of the U.S. Write-in presidential candidates also would need to provide documentation. The records would be open to the public.
Lawmakers endorsed the legislation Wednesday, and the measure needs another vote before moving to the Senate.

President’s illegal uncle surrenders license for 45 days

"Onyango Obama — the president’s illegal alien half uncle — admitted to sufficient facts today in his drunken driving bust and his case is being continued without a finding for one year — but he must surrender his license.
Obama, 67, was ordered to give up his license for 45 days, effective today, a Framingham District Court judge ruled. He left court without speaking to the press.
Obama had been waging an aggressive legal battle against Framingham cops ever since he was pulled over Aug. 24 for driving erratically and blowing 0.14 on a Breathalyzer. But his attorney today said it was time to move on."
"As for Obama’s illegal alien status, his attorney added the deportation proceedings were due to his failure to “renew immigration paperwork.” Bratton said he expects that to be resolved, but he did not elaborate.
When he was arrested by Framingham police, he suggested his first call should be to the White House. A spokesman for the president told the Herald that call was never made. He actually called his boss at Conti’s Liquors.
Obama, who has been living illegally in the United States for nearly 20 years, has returned to work at Conti Liquors in Framingham."

But then, Corsi’s publicist received a call from the show’s producer saying network executives had viewed the segment and determined that it “didn’t fit,” and thus would be scrubbed.
There is something very wrong when the sitting president refuses to divulge huge pieces of information about his background. What is he hiding? Maybe the “birthers” were a little extreme, but is there something wrong with this “manufactured candidate,” whose history remains sealed from public view? What is he hiding?
Could the “Hawaii birth certificate” be a forgery? Is there something much worse—like “sponsorship” by an unnamed special interest? I don’t know. I do know that the man in the White House now is an imposter. The only question is which kind of an imposter: an incompetent “pretender” or a genuine phony, a “Manchurian candidate,” who is a liberal, ½ black and ½ white, and an obvious Muslim sympathizer (despite claims of being a Christian—in clear conflict with his non-Christian behavior).
Will this campaign expose him as the imposter, and the pretender his behavior has revealed? Will it expose his hidden history and murky background. We know about his failures and mistakes.

…”No matter how many times President Obama refers to the “problems he inherited,” he has now been in office three years. Certainly many of the current problems can be traced back to events that happened during the eight years that Bush held the top office, and some can be traced back to even earlier presidencies—but far from all of them. Many of the problems are newly created (or made worse), and Barack Obama owns them. Candidate Obama stepped up and essentially said, “I want the job, and everything that comes with it” by running for president. After three years in office, the problems now belong to him and his presidency. He caused them, made them worse, or didn’t solve them. Either way, they are his now. …In leadership, you cannot “pretend” to be a leader. You either are—or you aren’t—a leader. One or the other will become apparent very quickly. If you want the leadership job, you must step up and take full ownership of it. A “pretender” or “poser” is like an actor who has learned all the right lines, but has no idea what they mean. Once the script has been followed (or deviated from), the actor is clueless about what to do next. This is the job of the leader. Unfortunately, in this government, the “directors” often seem clueless, having learned in academia where results and wins/losses are theoretical, or in politics where success (at getting elected) is more a matter of rhetoric than results. If you are not ready for a position, or do not believe that you have what it takes to rise to the challenge (or clean up the mess even if you believe it is not your mess), then do not take the job. This was Barack Obama’s fundamental mistake. He grossly underestimated the difficulty of the position he was running for, and overestimated his preparedness to actually do the job. Just because he could “talk a good game” (thanks to a phalanx of speech writers and the omnipresent teleprompters) does not mean he actually knew what to do or how to do it. The presidency of the United States of America is not a place for heavy OJT (On-the Job-Training)….”
After the first three plus years of the presidency, it is painfully clear that Barack Obama was a “pretty face,” and “glib speaker” and a lightweight liberal politician with a community organizer/radical background. The American people should be outraged at this man’s behavior and even his candidacy. Why are they not? Because of the misinformation delivered by sympathetic liberal/mainstream media who loves his nonsensical form of governing.
…”Obama’s perceived preparedness for the presidency is a terrible delusion, from which it is difficult to escape. Mistakes build upon each other and result in even more complex problems. Difficult problems that are mishandled become even more difficult to fix. When you have too little experience, lack substance (other than the words of your latest speech), then leading, managing and problem solving simply don’t happen. And that is what has occurred. When you compound the problem by surrounding your self with like-minded theorists, lacking in real-world experience, things become worse yet. The theoretical solutions to problems often don’t work due to the messiness of the real world—and the reasons are almost unfathomable to these rookie executive/politicians. …”
What should Americans think about this “imposter?” Will he divulge his true background so we can all see who he is and where he came from—really? If not, is this just a man who should never have been sworn into the office of President in the first place, and who has crippled Americans miserably during his term?
Will we continue to believe his misstatements (the politically correct term for lies)? Can he simply use the media to “erase and forget the past three years of misery and missteps?” Or will we learn from his imperialistic behavior and terrible results and throw him out in November?

I confronted congressman (Lungren) at two town halls he scheduled this past week - one at Citrus Heights on Tuesday (March 13, 2012)... and the second was at Rancho Cordova on Thursday (March 15, 2012). The congressman has this new format in which there is an open mic... meaning anyone can come up and voice their comments, questions, or concerns... as long as they do not exceed a 5-minute time limit. That part of the format I like... but the part that should be modified... is to have the 5-minutes interactive with the Congressman. The idea should be to have a dialogue with constituents rather than the current rules of two separate monologues in which the Congressman gets the last word.
With the current rules... Lungren listens to all the comments... takes notes... everyone takes turns at the mic... and after everyone speaks... after Lungren has had time to think about what he wants to say in response... he then gives his response and there's NO reactions allowed at this point. At both town halls -- I had plenty to say to counter Lungren's remarks on the eligibility issue but couldn't counter due to the rules for the open mic format -- which is why it would have been great to be interactive immediately for the 5-minute time limit.
So at the first town hall... I get up and discuss a few concerns which included the findings of Sheriff Arpaio. I explain to the audience that the Selective Service card is fraudulent which means - by law - Obama is not entitled to hold any public office. I continue to say that Arpaio presented compelling evidence and I encouraged everyone to do a search for the press conference and see the evidence directly... and then asked Lungren "When will there be a congressional investigation?"
When Lungren addressed my eligibility concerns of the night... he says (paraphrasing what is shown in the video), "On the eligibility issue... I believe the President was born in Hawaii. I had a private conversation with the Governor of Hawaii in which she told me that she saw his birth certificate. And keep in mind this is a Republican Governor... so I believe what she told me." Notice he also got a plug in that she was running for Senator which may account for why he referenced a previous Governor rather than the current Governor.
Recall, I couldn't respond immediately that night.
So now that I had him on record of his response, I go to the second town hall on March 17, 2012. I go up to the mic and explain that I was at the previous town hall in which I expressed concern over Obama's eligibility (in light of Sheriff Joe Arpaio's recent press release information). I repeat the same points and then continued to say [paraphrasing]:
"Your [Lungren's] response was to tell me that you talked with a Governor who said she saw the document. I have several problems with that response. First, that was the previous Governor, and according to Hawaiian law, it is illegal for the Governor to see the document, so why would she be allowed to see it? The current Governor said he would put the issue to rest and later confessed he could not find any document on file. But assuming Governor Lingle at her word... that she saw the document.... is Governor Lingle a document forensic expert? Because Arpaio is an official law enforcement agency and has had FORENSIC EXPERTS examine the documents presented by the White House and there is no doubt for the Posse investigators that the documents put forth by Obama are forgeries. And to your [Lungren's] point in which you emphasized that the Governor was a Republican... the subtle implication being that she wouldn't lie by the mere nature of her political registration... IF we are going to use 'being a Republican' as our metric for truth... then I would like to point out to you that Sheriff Joe Arpaio is also a Republican. So when will you start to evaluate the compelling evidence he has presented? When will there be a congressional hearing?"
Everyone in the room applauded my little speech... I got more applause than I did the previous town hall night and even received high fives from audience members while returning to my seat. Another person jumped up to get into line after I sat down (he later told me that when he heard me speak on the topic... I gave him courage to do the same). The video for this Rancho Cordova town hall doesn't include the open mic footage... maybe the fact that more than one person asked about eligibility is the reason (Lungren may not want that portion to be seen... only his responses).
Interestingly, a black lady got up to announce that she was concerned about my racist remarks against the black President. I was in the middle of chuckling to myself at this expected meme when she turned around to point to me in the audience and caught me smiling. She was sitting with a few friends who were the only ones applauding when Lungren later insisted on ignoring the eligibility concerns of the majority of the audience. The "race" card narrative was in the minority... both in her opinion... and in the applause she received from the audience
It was great reinforcement that the other audience member who got in line (after I sat down)... and after the "race card" speech... in which he addressed the eligibility issue again. He made excellent points about the fact that Obama refused to touch the document the day it was released to position Obama for a plausible deniability argument in court.
When it came time for Lungren to respond... the good news is he dropped the excuse of the "Hawaiian Governor said so" -- LOL... he didn't dare go there again. The bad news was his response was [paraphrasing] "Look... I don't think the eligibility issue is important. Take it to court if you feel so strongly about it... and elections have consequences."
I have a ton of responses to that stance too... but unfortunately there are no more immediate town halls scheduled which would allow me to respond. One of which is "Elections do have consequences so maybe I shouldn't elect Dan Lungren into office again." By Lungren's logic... why should we bother to have congressional hearings on "Fast and Furious" -- cause if the Administration breaks the law -- hey -- that comes under the heading of "elections have consequences"... so move on people... nothing to see here...
I have NO INTENTION of letting the topic die. (smile)
